We are looking for process engineers and change ambassadors who can help us define how our processes work today and design what they should look like for the future.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Ensure that processes are mapped fully end to end, including client touch points, processing (including activities completed by HOST / Products / Functions) and data storage
  • Design, implement and deliver improvement programs or projects to reengineer processes where required, and deliver business performance improvement
  • Drive activities such as data gathering, fact finding, requirements gathering and solution design
  • Ensure strong networks with key stakeholders, enabling the function's ability to execute at pace;
  • Contribute, challenge and advise effectively within the function including internal committees/forums and support the provision of transparent and insightful feedback on programme status;
  • Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets.
  • Creating a true sense of urgency, pace, high performance and collaboration across CMB and HOST communities while delivering complex change/improvement initiatives
  • Managing a diverse and complex operational risk, control and regulatory environment that is continually altering in scope and focus
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in process mapping with a comprehensive understanding of CMB internal process and operational risks

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Good knowledge of Commercial bank's business model - i.e. the customer proposition, the channels and operations, and the key financial performance drivers
  • Good knowledge of business change - functionally and operationally
  • Good knowledge of Operational Risk
  • Proven experience of designing and embedding operational process improvements
  • Experience modelling/mapping business processes using a variety of tools and techniques, process design and reengineering
  • A track record of delivering significant change which improves business effectiveness in sustainable ways
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience of successfully influencing others, negotiating effectively and winning over audiences with compelling and persuasive presentations
  • Built effective networks both internally and externally and created opportunities for others to work collaboratively
  • A successful track record of leading significant and complex business programmes, overcoming challenges to consistently meet/exceed objectives
  • Promoted and led best practice in risk and compliance management in a similar organisation
