Job Description Summary

Part-time position carrying out a range of finance and accounting tasks to deliver a quality service to internal colleagues in line with agreed service standards. The successful applicant will work in the Fixed Assets team, ensuring that we administer the accounting of all assets of the Lloyds Group

Job Description

This is a 1 year secondment opportunity with a view to turn permanent. Hours will be 2 weeks at month end only, ideally 9-5 in order to cover month end workload. This is a new arrangement and exact hours can be discussed for the right candidate.

Carry out a range of finance and accounting processes where answers are readily available but some judgement may be required, e.g. data extraction, reconciliation, journal processing.

Ensuring that the work is completed accurately and adheres to specified Group policies, processes and procedures.
Build relationships typically at peer level in order to clarify facts, exchange information or resolve enquiries & issues escalating as appropriate
With experience, act as a source of expertise colleagues providing the necessary details on our agreed processes and approach.
Identify and suggest improvements to new and existing processes and procedures (simplifying tasks).

When required support line management with implementation of changes in own work area
