Job Description Summary

Deliver a range of Finance processes to provide high quality outputs which satisfy stakeholder needs. Act as a point of reference for information & procedural advice & queries from other business areas. May supervise a small team.

Job Description

Undertake a range of medium complexity finance and accounting tasks and processes e.g. data extraction, reconciliation, journal creation, payment approvals.
As required, supervise and coach team members in their day to day activities ensuring their workloads are completed to the required standard, providing advice, guidance, direction and support as appropriate
Respond to a range of queries, liaising as appropriate with line management and/or other business areas, clarifying issues and ensuring that the nature of the information being provided is understood by the recipient.
Identify and suggest improvements to new and existing processes and procedures
Ensure that all work within the team is completed accurately and adheres to specified Group policies, processes and procedures and relevant external regulations where required
Where required, manage, motivate, develop and appraise team members as required
Where appropriate, assist in the planning of month end tasks and scheduling of training.
Assists more senior colleagues, to ensure that all work within the area is completed accurately and adheres to specified Group policies, processes and procedures and relevant external regulations where required
