Your opportunity
For us, developers are not people who sit in a room somewhere churning out code. As a member of our team, we need you to lead, guide, plan, explain, working alongside clients and other consultancy disciplines, cracking problems with a mix of technical expertise and innovative thinking. It's how we outclass the competition and create the best digital experiences.
As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge digital solutions. You will have the chance to work with some of the best developers, UX designers and strategists in the business, using digital to shape the future of how we live, work and play.

We encourage consideration of flexible ways of working, both formal and informal arrangements that allow for the best outcomes for our people and our clients. If this opportunity is of interest to you with some flexibility, please do discuss with us.

Your opportunity
We are a consultancy working with a broad array of clients to create innovative mobile applications, using agile development methods and small, cross-functional teams of developers, UX engineers, designers, and QA engineers. Although we are a consultancy, we do most of our work from our Studio in Bristol; however, travel to client site is common. We work hard, build great apps, and have a lot of fun doing it.

Your role We're expanding fast, so we're looking for people who are, by which we mean natural initiative-takers who bring out the best in others, are brilliant listeners and can grow our business without compromising standards, integrity or culture.

You will work with outstanding digital talent across disciplines to innovate and solve some of the most exciting problems for our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform technical design and implementation of complex iOS features
  • Manage diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
  • Review client requirements, wireframes, and designs for technical feasibility, then work with the team to translate these into structured and sized user stories
  • Improve product quality through code reviews, writing effective unit tests, and collaborating with QA team to implement automation testing where appropriate
  • Contribute to the collective expertise in the Studio by taking an active interest in keeping up to date with industry releases and sharing that knowledge with colleagues through actively teaching and also peer support
  • Communicate effectively with clients and senior management

Location:
You will be based in our brand new studio in Bull Wharf, Bristol - but most project roles will require you to spend time on site with our clients. You should be prepared for regular domestic travel and, depending on circumstance, occasional travel within Europe.

Work pattern:
This is a permanent role. We encourage careful consideration of agile ways of working, both formal and informal arrangements that allow for the best outcomes for our people and our clients. If this opportunity is interesting as a permanent role with a degree of flexibility, please do discuss with us.
