Location: London

Salary: up to £130,000 + bonus

A leading global C++ house is seeking a superb technologist from an OO background to retrain to become a C++ Developer. (Full in-house training provided.)

You will be working on and developing high throughput, total availability and low-latency systems accessed millions of times every day from the world over. The work is autonomous and fast-paced, requiring exceptional C++ skills as well as leadership abilities. You will be responsible for highly efficient applications to monitor, process, and display to end-users the high-volume, Real Time market data of most stock exchanges around the world.

The Role:

You'll be working across all phases of the C++ development lifecycle on complex distributed architecture.

This particular London team develops libraries, toolkits, frameworks and servers used by thousands of application developers to write high quality and effective applications. They are now looking for a strong developer to build the next generation of toolkits and enhance the existing framework, used by hundreds of thousands of clients everyday.

Skills Required:

  • Degree in Computer Science (or numerate equivalent)
  • In-depth knowledge of Java/Python/C# + ideally C++ experience in the past
  • Exposure to full development software development cycle
  • Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
  • Development tools such as debuggers, profilers, tracing utilities and source code management
