You and your role
You will be at heart of everything we do, working closely with senior directors and having real input in influencing the direction of digital services in government. This is important work and requires you to make and facilitate decisions which will enable the success of our ambitious digital delivery agenda.
You will be providing information and performance metrics, to a range of audiences including Senior People in inside/outside organisations, summarising into key points.
Communicating on a regular basis with a range of stakeholders to drive continuous improvements across the Business Management Community.
Assisting in the development and delivery of Digital and/or Functions strategy and business plan including all aspects such as people, technology, financial implications and monitoring outcomes.
You'll build strong relationships and links with senior stakeholders, technical digital and portfolio staff and health transformation experts, and you will work across these areas to pull everyone together. You'll have the confidence to challenge and be empowered and encouraged to do so, no matter who you're working with.
What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?
As a Digital Business Performance & Planning Manager you will ensure the successful delivery of functional accountabilities in line with the appropriate strategy and business plan .
You will analyse data, draw conclusions and credibly present information in order to influence and persuade board members to take action or make decisions. You are able to handle numbers confidently and collate information ensuring accuracy of financial and performance data.
You understand the importance of performance measurement and how this supports achievement of the business objectives.
You will be collaborating in researching, organising and analysing of data and information against Business Plan deliverables to ensure the delivery of business plans and you will be able to transfer all of your knowledge and skills and adapt them to a digital environment, understanding the background and what our challenges are likely to be.
