Our client a major Bank seeks two Associate Directors to join their Corporate Finance 'Value Add' Team based in London

The successful candidate/s will add value to existing clients working closely with the sector RM's

  • The Team is organised along industry groups, developing and enhancing the strategic dialogue with clients.
  • Provide clients with strategic finance solutions including capital structuring advice, acquisitionfinancing, liquidity enhancement, hybrid funding and ratings optimisation.
  • Providing corporate finance advisory services to corporates in the EMEA region. 

Typical advisory work includes: 

- Optimal capital structure 
- Acquisition financing (equity requirement and take-out strategy)
- Public ratings advisory
- Equity raising
- DCM and High Yield
- Private Placements
- Hybrid capital
- Balance sheet restructuring

Candidates should have:-

  • Solid understanding of the principles of corporate finance
  • Experience in corporate credit analysis
  • Proven track record in desktop analysis and to possess a strong technical skill set and ability to interpret and analyse corporate accounts
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, modelling knowledge and skills in corporate finance technique to include – liquidity analysis, cash flow analysis, acquisition/divestiture analysis, ratings analysis, optimal capital structure analysis and all comparative analysis related thereto.
  • Experience with company valuations and knowledge & application experience with various external data sources
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills both internal to the bank and external towards customers
  • Solid understanding of the principles of corporate finance
