My client is a leading investment bank based in central London and they are looking for a junior - mid level IT Business Analyst to join their team to work on a couple of exciting projects. * Trade booking * Trade booking systems * Financial Product Knowledge * Settlements * Confirmations * Reconciliations * Full Trade Life Cycle * Regulatory exposure * MifID II / PSD2 / SFTR / MAR * Data - SQL

My client is a leading investment bank based in central London.

They are looking to hire a mid-level IT Business Analyst to join one of their teams to work on two exciting projects.

Project 1: to build out a new trade booking system across all asset classes and integrate into their in house system (FX Cash, FX Options, Commodities, Rates, Equities, Derivatives etc.) **Multi-year project

Project 2: Enhancing functionality and implementing an in house built API into a back office settlements and consumer on-boarding system

Required skills, knowledge & experience:

  • Experience working in financial services
  • Business Analysis skills
  • Requirements gathering
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • BRD & FRD - writing business and functional requirement documentation
  • Full trade life cycle
  • Experience working with a trade booking system
  • Financial risk awareness
  • Regulatory exposure/ awareness (MiFID II, MAR, SFTR, PSD2 etc)
  • Settlements, Configurations, Reconciliations
  • Cross Asset Product knowledge (preference is FX but any will be beneficial)

Technology skills (beneficial but not essential):

  • Murex
  • SQL scripting
  • Big data
  • MS Office (competency required)
  • API (Restful API)
  • Any other coding or tech skill will be beneficial

You will be partnered with a very experienced and senior Business Analyst who will provide one to one, 'on the job' training.
