Yourresponsibilities will include: • Advocating the design discipline andits value to non-designers, both internally and at client organisations
• Collaborating with teams of venture strategistsand design researchers to identify innovation opportunities and developpropositions that create value for people and client organisations
• Deploying research methods includingboth top-down techniques like demographic and large-scale surveys, and deepqualitative methods like ethnography, customer panels, and behaviouralapproaches
• Detecting unmet and emerging customerneeds, behaviours and expectations
• Communicating research discoveriesthrough compelling narratives and visualisations
• Defining and developing prototypesof new offerings and experiences to test and refine concepts in-market
• Collaborating with other designersto create and deliver immersive working sessions that engage and empowerleaders to act
• Facilitating conversations withclient teams to identify and develop new opportunities for their organisations
Yourprofessional experience
Successfulcandidates will be able to demonstrate these characteristics: • A portfolio that demonstrates proficiency in design acrossdifferent mediums, strong story-telling skills, and the ability to communicatecompelling user experiences • Mastery of the design process; in particular for solvinginnovation challenges • A passion for learning about the world, human behaviour,and the motivations that lie beneath the surface • The ability to synthesise research into concreterecommendations and communicate them to business audiences • A passion for conceiving, developing and prototypingsolutions that delight consumers and create value for clients • The ability to work in dynamic, often ambiguous conditions,both individually and in a team • A highly collaborative nature and a desire to work withthose from other disciplines • Strong written and spoken communication skills • Technical proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign,Photoshop, After Effects or equivalent • Adept at using the Microsoft Office suite • Excellent design qualifications plus at least 4 years ofconsulting experience in Innovation, Design Strategy, Service Design or otherrelevant industry.

Location You will be based ina Deloitte London office, however travel will be required for client projects.Whilst some clients are London based, we do spend time on site with regionaland international clients. We specify full mobility for our consulting rolesbut we make arrangements respectfully.
