Full Stack Developer - London
Technology and data-driven firm are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join their ranks. They design and build their own systems, from high-performance trading platforms to data analysis farms. They have an expertise in trading, technology and operations and credit their continuous success to their rigorous scientific research.
Responsibilities - Take part in all phases of the development process - from working with stakeholders to define their requirements all the way through designing, implementing, testing and releasing to production.
- Build tools to configure and deploy applications
- Facilitate historical and real-time data, allowing researchers to explore large amounts of data
- Build web applications and microservices within the in-house trading and research technology stack
Requirements - Strong Computer Science degree or related subject from a top tier university
- 3+ years' professional development experience
- Skilled in React JS
- Experience building web application back-ends
- Experience developing under Linux - including bash scripting
Desired - Proficiency with Python
- Experience with large data sets
- Knowledge of financial markets
