Our client, a leading independent private equity investment fund, is looking to hire a Fund Accountant to join its impressive London-based finance team. Established over 30 years ago, the firm currently possesses an impressive portfolio built up of SME businesses, infrastructure and retail assets. The Fund Accountant will be a key member of a dedicated finance team. A new position due to company growth, the role will be very diverse, allowing excellent exposure to all the financial aspects of a fast-growing business. On a daily basis, you will be working very closely with the wider team and reporting into an experienced Finance Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified accountant with experience in the audit or investment fund space to become an integral member of an award-winning fund.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure accurate and timely management of financial reports
  • Take ownership of the annual statutory audit process, including auditor relationship
  • Review information necessary for Companies House filings
  • Review critical inputs to the management fee calculation
  • Key role in implementing the new IT system
  • Prepare / review data required for more complex IR and sales queries
  • Provide support on projects and strategies
  • Regular interaction with senior stakeholders

YOUR PROFILE:
  • Strong academics
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)
  • Extremely high attention to detail
  • Strong Excel skills are essential
  • Strong technical accounting skills, with a keen interest in financial accounting
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
