An opportunity has arisen for a driven Finance Business Analyst to support with the impact analysis & implementation of international business growth objectives within the relevant Legal Entity Controller Finance systems. This will be an interim position for a minimum of 6 months
The business analyst will be required to have a comprehensive understanding of legal entity reporting to determine the impact of new business strategies on their processes, own, document and drive this change to implementation working alongside relevant stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent time management and communication skills, the ability to adapt to changing priorities and be able to work under pressure to meet aggressive deadlines.
Responsibilities include:
- Participate in new product approval processes and monitor the roadmap on behalf of International Controllers
- Determine the impact assessment for Legal entity controllers (& regulatory reporting to a lesser extent)
- Liaise with reporting teams in controllers to present back and validate impact assessments
- Determine any change requirements (systemic or operating model related) because of a new business/ growth strategy
- Monitor and track new approval process to implementation supporting any testing required through the process
- Focus on control environment
- The candidate should have application development and implementation experience.
Requirements:
- Worked extensively in the financial services industry in Product Control/ Legal Entity Controller experience (GL/ balance Sheet, P&L)
- Qualified accountant
- In depth finance systems knowledge
- Knowledge of Alteryx and Tableau
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Product Knowledge – Derivatives, Securities, and Trade Finance (secured funding, repos, stocked loans and derivatives)
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-directed and motivated
