Python Data Engineer at leading proprietary trading firm.

Here at Fourier we are currently working with, a leading market maker and proprietary trading firm. They are looking for talented Python developer to join the team and provide insights across all areas of Maven’s high-frequency trading operation.

 

Essential Qualifications:

• In depth experience working in modern Python
• Experience in Numpy and Pandas packages
• Business communication skills & ability to present information clearly and concisely
• Enthusiasm to rapidly learn new technologies and skills
• Bachelor degree with a minimum 2.1 grade or equivalent

 

Desired skills:

• Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes, serverless)
• Experience working with large time series data
• Experience in Rust, or an interest in learning it
• knowledge of financial markets & securities

 

You will work closely with the software development and IT operations teams to source the data you need, you will use the latest open source and in-house tools to help you to communicate your findings clearly.
