As a part of the Barclays Remediation Quality Assurance Team you will be part of a growing team providing regular assurance to the front and back office function, while ensuring that the effective oversight of business and customer risk is maintained.

- Client Population Analyst

About us:
Our goal in Omni Channel and Customer Experience (OC&CE) is to accelerate our journey to provide brilliant customer and client experiences across all products and segments of Barclays UK. Barclays Remediation Portfolio consists of a number of sensitive and complex remediation programmes that span across multiple products and areas covering both Barclays UK and Barclays International. The projects in the Remediation Portfolio are customer facing (as they identify and process customer redress outcomes) and are subject to external scrutiny by the Banks' regulator(s) and auditors.

As a member of the Quality Assurance (QA) team your main responsibilities could include:
* Undertaking targeted control interventions and assurance, managing the resolution and remediation of conduct risk issues where required, to maintain a green control environment
* Delivering robust, effective and insightful reporting, analysis and communication to ensure that the business is compliant with the defined governance framework
* Operating effectively across relevant teams to share best practices in the control and quality assurance framework mechanisms, identifying opportunities to continuously improve
* Ensuring accuracy of booking, posting of accounting entries and performing bank account reconciliation
* Ensuring compliance and consistency of quality assurance management information reporting, issue logging, documentation and filing of evidence

As a member of the Quality Assurance (QA) team, your skills and experience could include:
* Working knowledge of financial services environments and products (debt and loan preferable) gained from working within a quality assurance (QA) role previously within a bank
* Experience of performing QA checks and reviews - some roles would benefit from Quant QA experience
* Subject matter expertise in modelling is preferable
* The ability to contribute to continuous improvement, proposing improvements and seeking to add value
* The ability to contribute quickly and effectively at any stage of a project; developing and delivering solutions to business challenges using best practice and logical reasoning
* Experience of working with data, including database management (SQL, Teradata, SAS, OLAP or similar) and data analytics products (ACL, Tableau) is preferable
