Regulatory Reporting Manager, Contract
As a Manager within the team, your core project will be focusing on the initial interpretation of Central Bank reporting regulations for different jurisdictions. Therefore, experience with Ireland, France and Germany Regulatory Reporting standards would be advantageous but not essential.
You will also be involved in identifying data attributes required to satisfy the future reporting requirements and performing an analysis against the current state. In addition to this you will be working with stakeholders to source additional data required; performing relevant mapping of data through to the returns, ensuring data lineage is documented; defining and performing test cases; and documenting procedure notes for new processes that will come from the automation, and providing training where appropriate.
In addition to the core project, additional responsibilities will include the understanding and review of the daily regulatory calculations prepared by off shore teams; preparation and submission of appropriate periodic returns for (non-UK) EMEA regulated entities; and preparation and submission of periodic FSA and Bank of England returns for the UK regulated entities, including the London Branch of Macquarie Bank Limited.
To be successful in this role you will be a team player, willing to help wherever required and you will have a practical and well organised approach to work. You will also be able to demonstrate a work history of delivering to deadlines, the ability to apply judgement and to escalate issues where appropriate.
You will also need to bring the following skills:
- prior experience working with AXIOM and/or PeopleSoft
- French or German language skills would be an advantage
- experience in Regulatory Reporting: be that in Capital, Liquidity, Statistical or FINREP
- and finally, experience working with systems processing large volumes of data, and the controls required to manage such systems, will be well regarded.
If you are looking for a new opportunity within Regulatory Reporting, we look forward to hearing from you.
