An excellent opportunity for a Business Aligned Compliance Manager to gain exposure, in a challenging role, with our Risk Management Group - Compliance team, aligned to the Macquarie Capital business, operating group in London.

As a Business Aligned Compliance Manager you will report to the Head of Compliance for Macquarie Capital, in Europe. This position will offer you an excellent opportunity to further develop your compliance experience in a dynamic, commercial and fast-paced environment. Sitting with the Macquarie Capital business, the role is challenging and requires broad involvement with compliance issues and regular interaction with senior management and executives across Macquarie Capital and the Risk Management Group in Europe.

You will ensure an effective compliance environment is maintained in Macquarie Capital in Europe and manage potential conflicts of interests associated with transactions undertaken by Macquarie Capital. You will advise on compliance implications for specific transactions, new products and businesses and develop and deliver training across the business.

You will develop policies as required, conduct breach and incident reporting, as well as contribute to the wider programme of work for the compliance team in regional and global projects. You will also identify and report regulatory risks and report on key compliance metrics to senior management in Macquarie Capital and to the Risk Management Group.

You are an experienced compliance professional with at least 3-5 years' compliance advisory experience gained in an investment banking, legal or regulatory environment, within the private side businesses including investment banking, corporate finance and capital markets. You will have a working knowledge of capital markets and financial services laws, regulatory environment and products and an interest in gaining exposure to and working closely with the underlying business.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and ability to build relationships at all levels will be key to your success. You enjoy working autonomously, can determine priorities and able to deliver results within deadlines. You will also have a pragmatic, commercial approach to risk and compliance whilst achieving desired outcomes.
