Your role
As a Senior Consultant in the team, you will help our clients transform their operations whilst building your own skills and knowledge. You will broaden your skill set and develop quickly, working on complex, transformational projects across a range of client business situations. Each project will be unique, dependent on the nature of the client's challenge you could be involved in a variety of projects including design, build and implementing large-scale merchandising and fulfilment solutions, or optimising discrete business processes.

Whilst fulfilling your own career and personal growth ambitions, you will also contribute to developing our practice which could include refining our industry-leading tools and methods, leading or supporting the publication of thought leadership or developing new propositions, as well as taking opportunities to contribute to the development and management of our team. You will also work with the wider Consulting team, contributing to our healthy pipeline by supporting sales proposal development and presentation back to our clients.

•Using your own skills and knowledge, lead a work stream in a fulfilment project. Working directly with clients to deliver their objectives and solve complex problems; analysing and interpreting data; preparing and presenting high quality deliverables; delivering engaging and interactive workshops; and gaining commitment from key stakeholders
•Delivering these work streams on time, within budget and in line with client expectations using both waterfall and agile/iterative delivery methods;
•Managing one or more junior resources or potentially leading a small team on your project, providing day to day direction and guidance
•Helping to engage clients through providing leading practice examples which you will continue to build through your own experiences
•Actively participating in and contributing to the success of the practice
•Proactively driving your own development through access to on the job coaching and an array of training options
•Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution

London & Regions. However travel will be required for client based projects. Whilst some clients are London based, we do spend time on site with regional and international clients. We specify full mobility for our consulting roles but we make arrangements respectfully.

Work pattern:
The role can be worked on a full-time, or on a part-time basis, with a minimum of four days (80% presence) a week.

Your professional experience

•Good experience gained through either delivering consulting assignments for blue-chip Consumer facing businesses clients or in operational transformation roles or in management roles within the Supply Chain of a Consumer business
•Experience in one or more of the following; Planning & Forecasting, Order Management, Logistics & Warehouse Operations; logistics transformation, or in delivering digital and/or technology-enabled projects (e.g. WMS, TMS, Control Tower, ERP deployments) in roles such as Business design lead, Workstream Lead, Product Owner, Project Manager
•Good functional understanding of Fulfilment and the impact of digital and omnichannel change (e.g. network design; demand forecasting; stock allocation & replenishment; order management, B2B and B2C ecommerce, warehouse management, returns management, transportation and 3PL management), alongside a wider understanding of end to end supply chain such as commercial operations, procurement and manufacturing.
•Knowledge of process definition and process mapping, requirements gathering and delivery excellence developed through on the job project work
•Knowledge of Fulfilment and wider Supply Chain transformation benefits definition and / or benefits case building
•Experience leading people and teams across a range of short-term and long-term projects
•Previous consulting experience or equivalent project based work
•Flexibility in work location for extended periods
•Experience in delivering or participating in agile development is preferred but not essential
