This is an exciting opportunity to join amarket-leading financial services strategy consulting team. Your role As a Senior Manager you will gain a wide variety of skills andexperiences across a range of engagements. You’ll play a vital role in conceiving strategies for ourclients, planning the implementation, and at times strategy delivery.

• Strategic optionsanalysis and evaluation: working with clients to understand and definestrategic choices ahead of key investment decisions
• Market analysis:traditional evidence-led analysis to identify market development opportunitiesto support client strategies
• Developing strategicbusiness models: determining the optimum business or commercial model toeffectively deliver client objectives
• Capability building:helping our clients configure effectively and develop their ability to deliveroperational excellence in specific areas
• Stimulatinginnovation: identifying new ways of working that will stimulate innovation andgrowth, and lead to better decision-making

As a Senior Manager your responsibilitieswill include:
• Leadership: independently leading engagements fromscoping through delivery
• Analysis and insight: leading execution of rigorousand insightful analysis to build an evidence base to support strategydevelopment and change
• Tools, skills and frameworks: utilising effectively thosetools that can be brought to bear on new client problems, and shared as bestpractice within the team
• Team management: managing and supporting juniorresources in order to ensure successful project delivery
• Relationship management: working closely with clientsand internal stakeholders, taking the lead in developing strong professionalrelationships and liaising with teams to deliver a seamless client experience
• Continuous Learning: proactively developing your ownskills, seeking feedback, building knowledge, and sharing your insight withcolleagues
• Taking a leadership role in the management of thepractice and business development
Your work, yourchoice Location You will be based in a Deloitte Londonoffice, however travel will be required for client projects. Whilst someclients are London-based, we do spend time on site with regional andinternational clients. We specify full mobility for our consulting roles but wemake arrangements respectfully.

Your professionalexperience We are looking for people who positivelyenjoy addressing complex problems in an analytical manner, with a proven recordfor effective delivery in a project environment and a strong background in theLife & Pensions and/or Wealth sector(s).

To qualify for therole we are looking for:
An experiencedstrategist with subject matter expertise in one or more areas of the UK Life& Pensions or Wealth market, including the value chain, macro trends(regulatory, economic, and business factors) and disruptive technologies/models (Cloud, Big Data & AI, Digital platform models ) that are drivingchange and impacting business models of key institutions
A proven ability tomatch industry issues/needs with digital/tech/data solutions
Knowledge of how torun a strategy process for a BU review, market entry, profit pools, competitiveanalysis, strategic option development and evaluation
Experience of leadingbusiness launch projects/proposition development and being the person otherswill turn to for specification of market, commercial model, target customer andbasis of competition.
Significant experienceleading transformation programmes within a Life & Pensions or Wealth firm,or in a consulting firm or involved in Life, Pension, Wealth or Asset Managementactivities
Demonstrated abilityto lead and manage teams to successfully deliver initiatives within anorganisation and/or client facing projects
Flexibility to travel

Additional desirableattributes include:
A post graduatequalification e.g. MBA, CFA, CIMA
Any sector specificqualifications (e.g. FSA courses or relevant Certificates)
Experience of workingfor a FinTech
