As a key team member of several early stage new businesses, the UX/UI Architect won't mind fulfilling multiple hats in order to meet the needs of our users - a strategic thinker, hands-on prototype creator, user researcher, visual designer, team collaborator, and the ultimate champion for our users.
With a focused determination to get things done, you will drive product discovery, user research, interviews, surveys, and translate the findings into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, mockups, and prototypes. You will also design the overall functionality of our products and continuously iterate to ensure the best user experience.

You will understand and embrace the delivery of all aspects of a Customer Journey, from delivering the right marketing message through to perfect usability.

The project work involved being part of CitiVenture's D10X programme.  This is a strategic growth initiative building new businesses - "Lean startups" - inside Citi. These startups span our institutional clients group (ICG), corporate and investment banks, and our trade and treasury services. The potential for huge transformation of all kinds of financial services built around great client experiences is at the heart of what we do.

Key Responsibilities:

• UX Design of D10x Products Products
• Lead Design workshops to identify customer profiles, user journeys and design solutions.
• Define interaction models, user task flows, and UI (user interface) specifications
• Rapidly create and iterate lo-fi wireframes following a Lean UX methodology.
• Deliver final Hi-Fi assets to be used in product.
• Run user interviews and user testing of applications, software and websites
• Communicate scenarios (hypothetical users), end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs to other people working on a product
• Work with developers and product managers to deliver products that solve the customer need - championing the customer at every stage.
• Create and contribute to client and partner presentations, sales and marketing slides., Advertising/Marketing, Branding, Logo design, Concept design
• Analyse, understand and educate other team members on the changing competitive landscape.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience:

• Extensive years of  industry experience.
• Ability to influence others.
• Experience of agile and lean development methods
• Team player - puts own success below the success of the team.
• Demonstrated past experience of deeply understanding market and best practices in UX today
• Understand and adhere to principles of agile development and lean UX.

Skills:

• Ability t o deeply empathise with end users and incorporate learning into system design specifications from the initial concept stage.
• Comfortable with making wireframes and full designs - end to end UX Design skills
• Able to lead customer interviews and design workshops.
• Sees the UX in a fantastically crafted Marketing deck or Landing page in delivering the value proposition with precision
• Solicits feedback on own ideas and views feedback as essential to improving and refining quality.
• Focuses on delivering value vs. delivering features.
• Focuses on delivering revenue and market share vs. ubiquity.
• Handles criticism and disagreement constructively.


Qualifications:

• Graduate / MBA / or postgraduate qualification preferred plus relevant industry experience.
