Software Test Engineer II
  • Responsible for the overall quality of IT projects and changes through execution of all aspects of the Software Development and Testing Life Cycle
  • Work closely with development and business partners to ensure timely collaboration and resolution
  • Review and understand project or application requirements.
  • Write & Review testing documentation, e.g. test strategy, test plan, test cases and status reports
  • Manage and create test data as per the requirements
  • Work closely with peers to ensure continues support and test execution in various global locations
  • Utilize defect tracking system and report issues promptly and accurately
  • Conduct defect triage discussions & manage defects to closure. Retest, report status, update defect tracking system
  • Ensure reproducibility, auditability and traceability of deliverables
  • Assist in building and validating readiness of various pre-production test environments
  • Map test cases to the business and functional requirements (JIRA stories)
  • Streamline the testing process through automation of test cases, leveraging tools and setting goals to reduce time and effort
  • Develop system domain knowledge for all Global Digital Banking applications, and all related up- and down-stream systems integrated within the GDB ecosystem

  • U.S. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years previous experience in a test engineering role
  • Demonstrable knowledge of testing methodologies
  • Experience with web application and mobile device testing
  • Experience with test automation scripting, scheduling and reporting with Selenium and Jenkins
  • Experience with JIRA and ALM for test cases and defect management.
  • Experience in SQL and OOP, such as Java and Python
  • Knowledge of software development life cycles, including Iterative and Agile development models
