As aProduct Strategy Associate, you will be part of a fast-paced team that istasked with identifying and building upon the most attractive productstrategies for SVB, at a global scale. You will play a vital role in definingand supporting our overall product strategy, including analyzing marketopportunities, participating in ad-hoc special projects, support product leveldeep dives. In this role, you will interact regularly with senior leaders inproduct, technology and sales. 

  • Develop financial models, perform market sizing analysis, anddrive other strategic data analysis 
  • Monitorand provide insightful analysis on market dynamics, macro/microeconomicfactors, financials, competitive implications, growth opportunities &threats 
  • Developand recommend creative product innovations, and specific strategies foroptimizing existing products and financial performance - including marketdevelopment, investment prioritization, and other growth strategies 
  • Conductrigorous, data-driven analysis to diagnose the current state and model futureoutcomes for business and product performance

  • 1-3 yearsof experience, (preferably in management consulting, investment banking, orcorporate strategy)  
  • Excellentanalytic thinking and analysis skills, financial modeling, and data aggregationskills 
  • Excellentproject management skills, including project structuring and managing multiplework streams independently 
  • Strongrelationship management skills, including partnering and consulting 
  • Strongcritical thinking skills and experience with multiple business models 
  • Abilityto structure ambiguous problems, think creatively, generate and testhypotheses, and provide actionable recommendations 
  • Abilityto identify and draw on analytical tools and techniques to develop new insightsfor large and complex business strategy projects 
  • Abilityto work collaboratively across the product organization, supportcross-functional project teams, and partner with senior leaders on a wide rangeof issues ranging from strategic thinking to operational planning
  • Driveassigned projects and initiatives, including develop work plans and executedeliverables on time 
  • Bachelor's Degree required
