The Senior Executive Assistant - CEO provides high level support in a variety of managerial and administrative duties to support the CEO of Santander Bank, NA, along with other key leadership team members and Board Members.
Answers CEO's phone as needed.
Completes accurate and timely expense reporting utilizing expense management software.
Coordinates and prepares Board meeting packages and Board committee packages.
Manages complex and ever-changing travel, both domestic and international.
Organizes internal and external meeting documents for team members.
Plans and executes in-house and off-site meetings, conferences and appointments.
Prioritizes conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with tight deadline commitments.
Provides extensive administrative support in monitoring correspondence via phone and email.Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience 5-9 years
Experience supporting C-level executives
Ability to exhibit executive function skills: paying attention; organizing, planning and prioritizing; starting tasks and staying focused on them to completion; understanding different points of view; and self-monitoring
Ability to flourish in fast-paced settings, meet pressing deadlines and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment
Ability to make reasonable decisions with minimal supervision
Ability to use sound judgement in addressing new work problems
Detail focused with ability to quickly assess the accuracy of information
Exercise discretion and confidentiality in working with sensitive information
Experience with expense management software (i.e. Concur)
Expert calendar coordination using keen prioritization skills, precision and a sense of urgency
Expert-level experience in working with Mac and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint)
Flexible and adept at working on multiple assignments simultaneously
Highly motivated and extremely capable of working autonomously with little supervision and not delegating tasks
Must be self-motivated and have the ability to respond quickly under heavy deadline demands at any time
Polished and professional demeanor, as well as outstanding written and verbal communication skills
