ROLE
- Overall architect to help migrate existing platform to Azure.
- Architect internet based web-service applications.
•Design, Manage and Automate the hosting of modern web application workloads on a scalable high-performance, reliable Azure cloud hosting platform.
•Provide technical leadership for major initiatives, such as application migration to the Azure cloud platform.
•Work collaboratively with Platform Architects, Product Management, Agile Development teams, and Quality Assurance teams to drive platform quality, meet project deadlines and communicate progress status to management.
•Review the work of cloud platform engineers for accuracy and completeness, providing guidance and feedback as necessary.
•Produce well-documented design strategies, estimates and implementation / delivery plans.

ALL ABOUT YOU
•Practical hands-on experience in migrating applications to Azure public cloud platform.
•Practical hands-on experience with managing automation (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, Azure Pipelines & Azure Artifacts to support application workload deployments in Azure cloud-based platform.
•Practical hands-on experience with Azure native services Like VM ScaleSets, Vnet, Subnet & Network Security Group management, Azure cache for Redis, Azure Dedicated HSMs, Cosmos DB and Azure Active Directory.
•Experience with Redis cache management in a clustered environment.
•Experience is configuring ingress & egress Traffic management ruless.
•Networking, TLS/mTLS concepts and trouble-shooting experience preferred.
•Experience integrating Azure cloud hosted solution with 3rd party service providers over the internet.
•Experience in hardening cloud platform to suffice major compliance standards like PCI and SOC3.
•Strong background in Agile (Scrum) development methodologies.
•Experience on other cloud-based platforms (AWS, Google Cloud etc.) is a major plus.

•Experience specifying platform infrastructure requirements, and estimating complex IT efforts.
