Associate, Financial Analysis and Reporting Description:
Examine, analyze and interpret financial data from internal systems to prepare financial reports. Identify trends and opportunities for business improvement and provide corporate leaders with financial analysis to help drive decision making. Develop monthly financial statements which analyze variances between daily management reports and the general ledger, using complex analytical tools as well as Oracle databases. Collaborate with international business partners to produce monthly Financial Committee management reports for Cantor Europe and Asia. Partner with IT and Finance Project teams to implement automated management reporting tools to better streamline report production. Forecast Cantor Corporate divisional run-rates for daily reporting leveraging historical financial performance and inputs from key business partners. Conduct ad hoc analysis on operating activity and specific business development initiatives for business managers. Education:
Master's degree in Statistics, Finance or related field. Requirements:
Minimum of 24 months experience with financial planning and analysis with a top tier financial services company. Must have experience with the following: analyzing large amounts of financial data and working in international business reporting as well as business partnering across Finance functions. Experience must include: reviewing and presenting business analytics to senior management; utilizing VBA to create and manage Excel macros; creating business forecast models and implementing business profitability analytics by using financial reporting applications such as Essbase, Oracle Planning as well as programming tools such as SQL.
