Global Lead of Environment Management
We Offer
As the global lead of the Environments Management team in the Prime Services IT department your mission is to simplify and upgrade our infrastructure platform, improve automation, and lead the integration with DevOps pipelines. You will have a key role in uplifting production and non-production environments, driving process improvements, and empowering our teams to use them seamlessly.

Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end management of environments used by the Prime Services IT department: manage provisioning, upgrades, decommissioning and access management of Compute, Database and Web assets for 50+ applications (virtualized and physical) across Prod and Non-Prod environments for the US, Europe and Asia.
  • Define and implement infrastructure target state that provides high level of stability and minimizes cost and operational risks leveraging the firm's on and off-premise Cloud solutions.
  • Ensure platform conforms to all policies and regulations
  • Work closely with Development, QA and the firm's centralized SA and DBA teams
  • Lead team responsible for environment and release management
  • Drive integration with DevOps pipelines
  • Bring technical acumen and ability to dive deep into complex problems to determine the correct technical solution
  • Drive adoption of innovative Cloud and container solutions such as infrastructure as code (IaC)

You Offer

Mandatory qualifications:

  • IT or Engineering Degree
  • 10+ years of professional experience
  • Experience with the full life cycle management of prod and non-prod infrastructure (servers, databases, storage, software)
  • Familiarity with the fundamentals of the following:
  • Linux or Windows
  • Relational databases: Oracle, Sybase or MS-SQL
  • Storage
  • Networking & Security
  • High availability concepts
  • Backups and disaster recovery
  • Web technologies
  • Audit and regulatory


Track record working successfully across multiple teams in a large organization

Desired qualifications:

  • Have the technical ability to be hands-on when needed
  • Experience with containers (e.g. Docker) and Kubernetes / OpenShift
  • Experience with continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI/CD)
  • Experience with virtualization technologies
  • Operational Risk management
  • Exposure to Azure
