Tech Risk Business Management Associate
Business Unit Overview
Led by the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Technology Risk secures Goldman Sachs against hackers and other cyber threats. We are responsible for detecting and preventing attempted cyber intrusions against the firm, helping the firm develop more secure applications and infrastructure, developing software in support of our efforts, measuring cybersecurity risk, and designing and driving implementation of cybersecurity controls. The team has global presence across the Americas, APAC, India and EMEA. Within Technology Risk, the Chief of Staff team is a critical part of the leadership team and is responsible for driving the execution of strategic priorities and special projects as defined by the CISO and Engineering leadership, including budgeting and resource planning and oversight, workforce strategy and organizational design, communications, and daily business operations.

We are looking for an experienced, highly self-motivated candidate with a strong project/program management background to operate global security programs with a successful track record of delivering and maintaining effective solutions. In addition, this role will have a focus on providing regional financial data analysis, management and control for all Technology expenses. The successful candidate for this role will engage with numerous groups across Engineering, Finance, HCM and others. Key success criteria include the promotion and enforcement of information security at all levels of the organization and across all technology platforms, and the efficient and timely coordination and review of the Technology Division's response to internal inquiries.

• Serve as a point of communication, coordination and information flow for the tech risk leadership team to ensure consistency across numerous routine and ad hoc tasks
• Help coordinate technology forums and town hall meetings
• Partner with Human Capital Management, Compliance, other business unit Chiefs of Staff, Technology Financial Services, and other tech leadership teams to ensure conformance with policies, procedures and tasks/actions required by managers and staff.
• Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Understand business needs, facilitating and developing process workflow, data requirements, and specifications required to support implementation
• Actively manage key activities to ensure organizational hygiene (headcount management, budget oversight, allocations, etc.)
• Analyze variances and trends underlying revenues & expenses to provide the business with regular updates through reports supported by well documented commentaries
• Devise creative methodologies to improve reporting efficiency across business

• Strong stakeholder/relationship management, particularly with senior individuals
• Strong communications skills - listening, written, and verbal
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered
• Critical and Analytical Thinking - Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and exercise a thoughtful approach to decision making
• Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office products with focus on Excel and Powerpoint, tools and utilities for business use
• Results-oriented and pro-active. Ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Develop creative, compelling presentations and internal posts to articulate the technology strategy and other leadership messages
• 2-3 years of experience in financial services industry, preferably in an analytical function

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working on a global team
• Broad knowledge of and interest in Cyber Security, Risk Financial Services and Technology
• Experience with analytical and Business Intelligence / Statistical tools - BO
