Full Stack Java Software Engineer

The Controls Legal Risk Technology helps build and operate innovative industry leading solutions. The breadth of capabilities within this team enables to support the firm in leading edge areas such as Digital, Big data analytics, Robotics & Machine Learning.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • BS degree, preferably in Computer Science / Engineering or similar degree
  • Software development experience with a solid understanding of object oriented programming.
  • Experience in JavaScript UI frameworks like JQuery and Angular 2
  • Extensive experience in Java/J2EE and in developing web services leveraging the Spring framework.
  • Agile methodology experience required.
  • Knowledge of the following tools and technologies: Java SE, SAX parsing, JUnit,Spring, Jquery, Hibernate, Ant and Maven, Oracle and Hudson.
  • Experience with micro--services and cloud technologies, big data and elastic search
  • Must have experience developing client facing applications and working closely with the support partners
  • Strong familiarity and adherence to core Database Principles
  • Experience with Unit Test-Driven Development
  • Presenting and demoing to users, stakeholders, and technology groups.
  • Create technical design recommendations for developing and integrating programs and regulatory controls per written specifications.
  • Ability to influence design and communicate it on difference levels.Experience with other Agile/Lean practices (for example, Kanban)
  • Experience/Knowledge on Machine learning/Data Science
  • Excellent Communication / Collaboration skills
  • Programming and application development experience in systems processing in the finance industry.
