Join a major South Australian public education organisation undertaking a substantial cybersecurity uplift. The organisation has developed a five-year roadmap toward ISO 27001 certification and requires an experienced Technical Business Analyst to help mobilise the program and support the selection of delivery partners.
Your new role
As the Cyber Technical Business Analyst, you will lead business analysis, stakeholder engagement and procurement support activities associated with the ISO 27001 Certification Roadmap.Acting as the central connection between business units, ICT teams, procurement stakeholders and external partners, you will translate the existing roadmap into clear business, functional and technical requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading planning and analysis during program initiation and mobilisation
- Translating the ISO 27001 roadmap into procurement-ready requirements
- Facilitating workshops with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Defining business, functional, operational and technical requirements
- Supporting the preparation of procurement and evaluation documentation
- Participating in the assessment of vendor submissions
- Supporting partner evaluation and selection activities
- Maintaining alignment with cybersecurity, risk and organisational priorities
- Providing governance, reporting and oversight across program workstreams
- Identifying dependencies, risks and delivery considerations
- Serving as the primary interface between business teams, ICT and external partners
You will have proven experience supporting complex ICT projects or programs, ideally involving cybersecurity, information security, ISO 27001 or technology risk. You will also bring:
- Strong technical and business analysis capability
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
- Experience translating cyber or ICT objectives into structured requirements
- Experience working within formal governance and reporting frameworks
- Previous involvement in vendor evaluation or procurement processes
- The ability to communicate effectively across business and technical audiences
- Public sector or large enterprise experience
- Availability to commence immediately or at short notice
- A current and valid Working with Children Check
