As a Cloud Engineer, you'll join a team responsible for delivering and maintaining enterprise cloud platforms across AWS or Azure. This is not an application development role - it's focused on cloud infrastructure, platform services, automation and Infrastructure as Code. You'll work across multiple projects, provisioning cloud resources, enabling platform capabilities and ensuring secure, scalable cloud environments for internal engineering teams.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer
- SME-level expertise in either AWS or Azure
- Strong Terraform experience, including deploying cloud resources through Infrastructure as Code
- Experience managing enterprise-scale cloud environments
- Strong understanding of IAM, cloud security, governance and access management
- Experience with CI/CD, automation and DevOps practices
- Exposure to Python, PowerShell and/or Ansible highly regarded
- Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
- Initial 12-month contract
- Work within a large cloud engineering team supporting enterprise-scale platforms
- Diverse pipeline of cloud and platform projects
- Opportunity to work alongside experienced Platform Engineers, Product Owners and Cloud SMEs
