Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced ICT Technical Specialist to provide frontline service desk and technical support across computer hardware, software, networks, and workplace technology. The successful candidate will troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests, maintain secure and reliable ICT systems, and deliver a high level of customer service to internal users.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues.
- Resolve incidents and service requests within agreed service levels.
- Support Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft Exchange environments.
- Diagnose and resolve remote desktop, printer, network connectivity, and end-user computing issues.
- Administer Microsoft Server environments and web-based applications.
- Support Citrix, video conferencing, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and agile workplace technologies.
- Manage incidents, tasks, problems, changes, and service requests using ServiceNow.
- Maintain system security, confidentiality, availability, and performance.
- Follow cybersecurity, change control, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Liaise effectively with internal teams, customers, vendors, and technology partners.
- Assist with procurement and deployment of ICT equipment.
- Travel to other locations when required to provide on-site support.
- Minimum 5 years of commercial IT support experience.
- Strong experience supporting Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
- Experience with remote desktop and peripheral support.
- Strong troubleshooting, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate networking knowledge with the ability to diagnose connectivity issues.
- Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Exchange environments.
- Experience or good understanding of Citrix environments.
- Experience troubleshooting printers, workstations, notebooks, and peripheral devices.
- Experience using ServiceNow within an ITIL environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Server administration.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Current Australian Class C Driving Licence.
- Willingness to travel interstate and intrastate when required.
- Experience working in an ICT project environment.
- Experience with SCCM/MECM administration.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms and Poly video conferencing endpoints.
- Experience administering web-based applications.
- Knowledge of Dell workstations and notebooks.
- Exposure to VMware environments.
- Experience with remote administration tools such as ConnectWise.
- Experience supporting agile or flexible workplace technologies.
- Microsoft certifications.
