Are you a detail-oriented and analytical professional looking to build your career in insurance operations? We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Operations Analyst to join our Melbourne team.

About the role:

Reporting to the Compliance & Operations Manager and working closely with the Operations Specialist, you'll provide dedicated Business Enablement support across CFC Australia's operational functions. Through reporting, system and process testing, issue resolution and workflow improvement, you'll help strengthen operational effectiveness and support Australian growth and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities Include:

• Producing accurate operational reporting and data analysis, including binder-related reporting
• Conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) and other testing for new systems, enhancements and process changes
• Analysing and supporting the resolution of system, process and operational issues
• Supporting new systems and processes that enable revenue growth and strategic initiatives
• Mapping, documenting and improving operational workflows and procedures
• Identifying opportunities for system enhancement, automation and control improvements
• Supporting data integrity and operational initiatives across Compliance, Claims and other business areas
• Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to support change and continuous improvement
• General administration and office duties as required

About You:

• Tertiary qualification (Bachelor's degree or higher)
• Strong IT skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, reporting and data management skills
• High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management abilities
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
• Ability to take ownership, use initiative and manage competing priorities
• Experience in data analysis, reporting or operational support roles is highly regarded
• Experience in financial services or insurance is advantageous
• Exposure to system testing, process mapping, workflow improvement, compliance, claims or underwriting operations would be beneficial
