Job Description:
On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a business transformation initiative that involves implementing a SaaS-based solution to replace manual processes with streamlined, automated workflows, improving operational efficiency, visibility, and service delivery. The Project Manager will provide end-to-end project leadership, governance, stakeholder management, and implementation oversight.
Responsibilities:
• Delivers project to agreed scope, schedule, quality and budget;
• Practices effective organizational change management practices following BCF project methodology, policies and procedures;
• Facilitates workshops, Working Group meetings, Steering Committee meetings and other stakeholder sessions as required;
• Utilizes effective conflict management practices in determining agreed directions or decisions;
• Establishes and manages effective change control processes;
• Reports status to project stakeholders including project Owner, Sponsor, Steering Committee;
• Defines project scope, goals and deliverables that support business needs in collaboration with stakeholders and management;
• Conducts and supports team member performance management activities;
• Analyzes and evaluates client needs and advises on timing and priorities of projects;
• Advises and actively contributes to the response to business opportunities and problems by matching information technology to meet business requirements;
Deliverables:
Typical project deliverables would include but not limited to the following:
• Project Charter
• Project Roadmap and workplan(s)
• Change management and communications plan
• Other project documentation per BCF PMO standards and governance
Required Experience:
• 8-10+ years' of project management experience in delivering technology driven projects or programs, with focus on digital transformation, or technology-enabled transformation
• Experience in managing projects with budgets over $500k
Required Technical Skills and/or qualifications:
• ITIL Certification
• Per Required experience
Soft Skills:
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects/programs in complex organizations with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities
• Excellent organizational, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with or in support of Directors and Executive sponsors
