Job Description:

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to provide senior project management, governance, stakeholder engagement, dependency management, planning and delivery oversight.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Project Manager will:
• Lead project planning, delivery management and governance activities.
• Coordinate activities across business, policy, delivery, technology and partner teams.
• Manage project schedules, risks, issues, decisions and dependencies.
• Facilitate executive, steering committee and working group governance processes.
• Support partnership management and ongoing engagement with SDPR and related stakeholders.
• Ensure work progresses from concept through implementation and transition into operations.
• Mentor and transfer knowledge to internal staff to build future project management capacity.

Deliverables:
• Project plans and schedules.
• Governance materials and status reports.
• Risk, issue and decision logs.
• Stakeholder engagement and communications materials.
• Delivery coordination and implementation plans.

Requirements:

Must Have:
• Minimum ten (10) years of recent experience in senior project management roles.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Experience overseeing digital transformation or service modernization initiatives.
• Experience managing project governance, risks, issues and dependencies.

Nice to Have:
• Experience working with BC Government ministries.
• Experience supporting social service, citizen service or Ministries with similar human supports impacts.
• Experience working with SDPR and related governance structures.
