The Role
The IT Vendor Manager leads IFM's technology vendor and contract management capability, ensuring technology suppliers deliver value, manage risk effectively and support the organisation's strategic objectives.
Working across a diverse portfolio of technology partners, the role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end vendor lifecycle, including supplier governance, contract management, commercial negotiations, performance monitoring and third-party risk oversight.

The Role
The IT Vendor Manager leads IFM's technology vendor and contract management capability, ensuring technology suppliers deliver value, manage risk effectively and support the organisation's strategic objectives.
Working across a diverse portfolio of technology partners, the role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end vendor lifecycle, including supplier governance, contract management, commercial negotiations, performance monitoring and third-party risk oversight.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the management of the end-to-end technology vendor lifecycle, including vendor onboarding, governance, contract management, renewals and relationship management.
- Drive commercial outcomes through contract negotiations, vendor performance management and ongoing supplier engagement.
- Oversee vendor governance frameworks, reporting, scorecards and performance metrics to support effective decision-making and stakeholder oversight.
- Manage third-party risk activities, including vendor risk assessments, risk register maintenance and compliance with regulatory, governance and cyber security requirements.
- Partner with Technology, Legal, Finance, Risk and business stakeholders to ensure contracts, policies and vendor arrangements remain current, compliant and aligned to business needs.
- Maintain oversight of vendor contracts, renewals, financial commitments and service delivery obligations, ensuring suppliers continue to meet agreed outcomes and service expectations.
Your Background and Experience
- 5+ years' experience in vendor management, contract management, procurement, commercial management or technology governance roles.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Information Technology, Procurement or a related discipline, with relevant industry certifications viewed favourably (e.g. ITIL, Certified Vendor Manager, Contract Management or similar certifications).
- Demonstrated experience negotiating and managing complex technology contracts and supplier agreements.
- Strong understanding of vendor lifecycle management, supplier governance frameworks and third-party risk management practices.
- Experience within financial services, investment management or banking environments will be highly regarded.
