About the role

We're looking for a highly capable and well-rounded Senior Business Analyst to join a Financial Services SME.

Sector experience in Financial Services or Insurance is nice to have, but what the client really does need is a Senior BA who can provide leadership and can proactively negotiate on requirements with business areas. A Business Analyst with a broad background, who loves to get stuck in, and has worked in different methodologies and has exposure to solving various business problems would be ideal!

You'll play a key role in translating business needs into actionable requirements, guiding workflows, and ensuring SaaS solutions are both technically sound and aligned with customer expectations.

Skill set / Experience needed

• Operating at a Senior Business Analyst level
• Experience working on system implementation and improvement projects (Application Development)
• Strong background working with SaaS solutions
• Strong documentation skills - working across the entire SDLC
• Experience working on system implementation and improvement projects
• Proven background working with vendors / creating technical documentation
• Experienced working with senior leadership teams / managing expectations
• Full autonomy of project delivery
• Development of requirements / specifications and conducting testing activities
• Provide support towards the delivery of the Enterprise Architecture strategy
• Experience working across business process improvement initiatives
• Provide data analysis and data quality support
• Participate in release management, ensuring all governance steps are completed
• Comfortable working across BAU initiatives as well as projects
• Support the continued development of business applications
• Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall frameworks
• Any insurance / insurance system experience will be beneficial (Duck Creek / Guidewire)
• Comfortable working in a lean, fast paced environment.
