Senior Network Engineer – Global Trading Infrastructure - Hong Kong - Relocation packages available
A leading quantitative trading firm is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to help design and deliver the next generation of its global infrastructure.
This is a chance to work on some of the most demanding networking challenges in finance - supporting ultra-low latency trading environments and wide-area connectivity across international markets.
You’ll join a highly skilled global infrastructure team, taking ownership of the full lifecycle: from architecture and design through to deployment and ongoing optimisation. Expect to work with cutting-edge vendors (Cisco, Arista, Fortinet) and play a key role in pushing automation, telemetry, and software-driven delivery across the network estate.
What you’ll do:
- Architect, build, and optimise high-performance networks for trading and corporate environments.
- Drive automation and monitoring to deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient infrastructure.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and trading teams across regions.
- Stay ahead of vendor roadmaps and industry trends to keep the platform at the frontier.
What we’re looking for:
- Deep knowledge of low-latency networking and large-scale network design.
- Hands-on experience across switching, firewalls, load balancers, WAN engineering, and traffic prioritisation.
- Strong vendor ecosystem knowledge with proven track record of delivering complex infrastructures.
- Experience implementing software-driven solutions in an agile environment.
📍 Location: Hong Kong (with full relocation packages available for experienced candidates).
