Dassault Systèmes is looking for a
Business Consultant to join its
Marine & Offshore team and help customers accelerate their digital transformation.
You will work with shipyards, naval organizations, ship designers, marine suppliers and classification societies to understand their business challenges and define how digital technologies - including Virtual Twins, AI and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform - can improve engineering and industrial performance.
Temporary job (10 months) based in Vélizy-Villacoublay.
Missions
- Understand customer challenges, objectives and transformation priorities
- Analyze engineering, design and manufacturing processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Develop transformation roadmaps, business cases and measurable value propositions
- Facilitate workshops and engage with senior customer stakeholders
- Work closely with Sales and Technical teams on strategic business opportunities
- Support customer engagements from initial discussions through implementation and value assessment
- Define and monitor relevant KPIs and communicate the business impact of transformation initiatives
- Contribute to the development of Marine & Offshore consulting expertise, industry content and customer success stories
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the maritime industry, ideally including shipyards, ship design, naval architecture, marine engineering or classification
- Experience in consulting, business transformation, engineering or industrial operations
- Ability to understand complex business and technical challenges and translate them into practical recommendations
- Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders ranging from engineering teams to senior executives
- Ability to work in an international and cross-functional environment
- Professional fluency in English
Experience with CAD, PLM, Digital Twins, simulation, manufacturing systems, MBSE or AI would be a plus, but is not mandatory.
