As a core member of our Frankfurt am Main Office team, you will be working with some of the industry's most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Role Overview
Lead SPV & fund accounting and client services for the Real Assets Business Line in your jurisdiction, driving operational excellence, client satisfaction, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• In charge of the designated portfolio of clients ensuring that all client queries and requests are processed and completed in a timely manner, efficiently and qualitatively
• Pick-up, reflect accounting entries from legal documents in German subject to German law
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including KAGB-related adjustments where applicable
• Act as the primary point of contact for german based clients and its business partners.
• Be willing to take on directorships at client entities
• Manage and coordinate the end-to-end payroll process for client employees, liaising with employees, insurance providers, tax advisors, and client managers while maintaining strict confidentiality throughout.
• Review and validate business reports, ensuring contextual accuracy and adherence to relevant regulatory requirements.
• Deal with local providers in Germany such as tax advisors, tax authorities, and local authorities and review the relevant documents prepared by such providers in support of the client entity directors
• Involved in periodic reviewing of transaction profiles and risk forms and updating these if needed

Qualifications

Candidate Profile

• Qualification as Bilanzbuchhalter or Dipl.Kfm or Master degree in Accounting, Finance or Management
• Extensive experience in an international audit firm or an international accounting or service company in the finance or accounting division is a plus
• Practical experience in the German Investment Code (KAGB) is a must
• Relevant professional designation is an advantage (CPA, CFA, CMA), but not required
• Experience in Financial Services with high volume operational environment and/or knowledge of fund accounting or hedge fund industry is a plus
• Solid understanding of the principle of German payroll processes, payroll documentation, and expense reporting, with the ability to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders including insurances, tax advisors, and client managers.
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented

• Good interpersonal and client service skills
• Fluent in English and German
