The Role
ASSO/AVP, Valuation Control, Financial Management
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for valuation control tasks for BOCI group, including managing the valuation method and process for calculation;
- Assist in formulating valuation control and other relevant policies for BOCI group;
- Handle hedge accounting booking;
- Closely communicate with Business and Risk Management Department on various management requirement;
- Prepare for Head Office reports related to valuation, financial products and hedge accounting;
- Other tasks assigned by supervisors.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree majoring in Accounting, Finance or related field, or education above;
- CPA/CFA/FRM qualification;
- Minimum 2 years of valuation control or product control experience in Investment Bank or financial institutions;
- Candidates with full time working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered as an advantage;
- Strong business analysis skills;
- Details oriented and good communication skills;
- Proficient in Sophis and VBA.
