The Role
AVP/VP, Business Management and Trade Support, Global Commodities
Key Accountabilities
1. Trade Support
• Ensure accurate and timely trade capture, booking, and enrichment across commodities products;
• Perform post trade lifecycle management: position and P&L reconciliations, and exception management etc;
• Assist in identifying risks in daily operation and drafting internal procedure and guideline to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements;
2. Business Management & Cross Functional Coordination
• Assist in client on-boarding , e.g. handle KYC and AML process and conduct name search;
• Support business strategy execution, resource planning, and operational alignment;
• Coordinate and act as a bridge with various stakeholders to promote and drive business and management initiatives;
• Support management reporting;
• Perform duties assigned by supervisor from time to time.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferably in in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field;
- At least 7 years of relevant work experience in derivative trade support / Middle Office role;
- Candidates with over 2 years of full time working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered as an advantage;
- Baseline understanding of commodities markets and trading workflows;
- Strong Excel and analytical skills; familiarity with automation tools;
- High attention to detail, ownership, and strong control discipline;
- Ability to communicate clearly with Front Office and support teams;
- Strong relationship building skills across global teams;
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, manage competing priorities, and adapt to change;
- Excellent in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), written and spoken.
