Reporting to the Head of Structured Sales, the Analyst will focus on selling products in the OTC derivative markets and structured investment space as well as support senior sales in preparation of pitch decks in solution advisory work involving private credit financing and liability hedging strategies.
Key Areas of Responsibilities- Coverage of clients both onshore and international accounts and distribute OTC derivatives, structured investments and structured financing products.
- Work with structuring team to market and design products and solutions
- New client onboarding and relationship acquisition
- Proactively liaise with trading desks to share market colour and new structured product developments offered by our competitors.
- Work closely with structured credit, Rates, FX & Commodities traders to promote and help develop their client market.
- Comply with relevant firm policies and regulatory requirements in relation to selling conduct and practice.
- Master or above degree in Finance & Economics, Mathematics, Quantitative science or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a financial institution with direct FICC experience preferred.
- Attained all required regulatory qualifications to carry out necessary regulated activities.
- Good understanding of FICC markets and familiarity with OTC Derivative products and structured notes selling process.
- Takes self-initiatives and highly motivated.
- A strong team player, with the ability to lead and direct resources within the team and outside of the team to achieve.
- Good interpersonal and communications skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese or Putonghua).
