We are looking for Banking Test Analyst / Test Engineer.

You will be involving…

For Banking Test Analyst

1. Lead and execute end-to-end UAT and system testing activities for banking projects, including test planning, test case design, execution, defect management, progress tracking, reporting, and go-live recommendations.
2. Collaborate closely with business users, project stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure testing coverage, issue resolution, and successful project delivery.
3. Prepare test strategies, test scenarios, test data, and testing documentation in accordance with project requirements and banking regulations.
4. Identify, log, track, and retest defects, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project timelines.
5. Support project implementation activities and provide testing guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Monitor testing progress, analyze results, and provide regular status updates to management and project teams.

For Test Engineer

1. Support the UAT activities for digital projects.
2. Coordinate with various stakeholders to gather requirements.
3. Understand the digital platforms and provide feedback.
4. Launch updated features for our digital platforms.
5. Provide training to users on enhancements to digital features.
6. Assist with various ad-hoc projects as required.

Job Requirements

1. Diploma or degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
2. 3+ year working experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test management. preferably in IT/ Banking sectors
3. Capable of flexibly applying testing methodologies and independently taking charge of quality assurance at module level;
4. Possess hands-on experience in functional testing, interface (API) testing, compatibility testing and performance testing;
5. Possess relevant testing experience in the banking sector, with a clear understanding of personal banking, corporate banking, wealth management and investment businesses;
6. Capable of independently analyzing module requirements and independently preparing module-level test plans as well as designing test cases;
7. Capable of independently setting up test environments;
8. Possess relevant knowledge of SQL scripts, JavaScript and databases;
9. Proficient in the use of testing tools such as JMeter, Postman, SoapUI and JIRA;
10. Capable of tracking, analyzing and reporting defects identified during testing, and driving timely resolution of issues;
11. Possess strong logical analytical and learning abilities, together with solid summarization skills.
