Our client, a well-known investment bank, is looking for an intern to join their team.
Your new role
- Assist with the pricing and valuation of exotic equity options, bespoke pay-offs, and structured products.
- Support analysis of product risk, sensitivities, and transaction economics using established desk models and tools.
- Develop, maintain, and improve scripts, automated workflows, and analytical tools used for market data processing, pay-off modelling, risk analysis, and reporting infrastructure.
- Automate recurring desk processes, including data collection, validation, report generation, and monitoring of structured-product market activity.
- Help improve the reliability, efficiency, and documentation of desk analytical infrastructure.
- Assist in preparing presentations and marketing materials describing structured-product solutions and related market considerations.
- Conduct research on equity structured notes and exotic derivatives, including analysis of publicly available filings, issuance data, term sheets, and market developments.
- Track product trends, client-demand themes, and relevant regulatory developments across jurisdictions.
What you'll need to succeed
- Quantitative finance, derivatives pricing, and financial-market analysis.
- Programming, automation, and data analysis for financial applications.
- Understanding of equity derivatives, structured products, and option pay-offs.
- Clear written communication and presentation skills.
