OVERVIEW:

The BAM Fundamental L/S Equity Business is looking for interns to work on projects related to research, company due diligence and data-driven idea generation. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge research at a leading hedge fund, offering hands-on experience in the public equity markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will report to a Fundamental L/S Equity Portfolio Manager. The intern will primarily be helping to:

Conduct deep fundamental research, primary research, and engage in other data collection efforts
Build and maintain detailed company financial models
Create valuation analyses and write company and industry reports
Take on ad-hoc industry related projects

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Pursuing bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics or other related fields
Expected graduation date between Winter 2027 and Spring 2028
Strong modelling and analytical skills. Programming skills are a plus
Ability to communicate effectively; excellent reading comprehension and writing skills
High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities
Passion for financial markets
