Our client is a well-established organisation currently undergoing a major HR digital transformation programme across the region. As part of their continued investment in people technology and process optimisation, they are looking for a Business Analyst to support the implementation and enhancement of their Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This role will work closely with IT, HR, external vendors, and business stakeholders to drive HR technology initiatives, improve HR processes, and ensure the successful delivery of HRIS-related projects.

Your new role

• Partner with the technology team, HR stakeholders, and system vendors to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for HRIS projects.
• Support HRIS implementation, enhancement, migration, and process improvement initiatives.
• Conduct requirement-gathering workshops and translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
• Analyse current HR processes and recommend system and process improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience.
• Collaborate with HR users, technical teams, and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support system configuration discussions, testing activities, UAT coordination, and deployment activities.
• Assist in data migration, data validation, and HR reporting requirements where necessary.
• Participate in change management, user training, and system adoption activities.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and aligned with business objectives.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's Degree or above in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, HRIS Analyst, or related experience.
• Ideally possess at least one end-to-end HRIS implementation or transformation project experience.
• Experience working with any HRIS platform such as Yonyou, BambooHR, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors HCM or other HR systems.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, stakeholder management, and business analysis activities.
• Good understanding of HR processes, including employee lifecycle management, payroll, leave management, performance management, or talent management.
• Experience supporting UAT, system implementation, process improvement, and vendor management activities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across HR, IT, and business teams.
• Experience working in Agile or Waterfall project environments would be advantageous.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin), and currently based in Hong Kong with valid working rights.
