A fast-growing global quantitative investment manager is hiring a Linux Production Engineer in Hong Kong.
You'll join the infrastructure team behind its high-performance trading and research platforms, mixing day-to-day support with hands-on project work.
What you'll do
- Build, upgrade and support a growing on-prem Linux estate
- Own server deployments end to end, from hardware through to production
- Drive automation and monitoring improvements with the engineering teams
- Work with users and application teams to deliver on complex requirements
What you'll bring
- Strong Linux administration on enterprise distributions
- End-to-end server deployment experience and solid hardware knowledge
- Scripting in Python and bash, plus configuration automation
- A good grasp of networking: TCP/UDP, LAN and WAN
- A collaborative, curious approach to solving problems
- Bonus: storage experience (NFS/SAN)
