Key Duties:
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible and Python to streamline infrastructure deployment and management.
- Ensure the security, stability, and optimization of Linux systems across the enterprise.
- Implement security hardening, performance tuning, and stability management for Linux environments.
- Collaborate with platform and operations teams to support infrastructure automation initiatives.
- Work independently on infrastructure automation projects while coordinating with broader teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and operational continuity.
- Maintain documentation for automation scripts, infrastructure configurations, and operational procedures.
- Experience: ~5 years of experience in on-premises infrastructure and data centre environments - hands-on with physical infrastructure, servers, and data centre operations.
- Automation & Scripting: Proven expertise in developing and maintaining automation scripts using Ansible and Python.
- Linux Systems: Strong knowledge of Linux systems - including security hardening, stability management, and performance optimization.
- Enterprise/FSI Experience: Must have worked for banking or financial services clients - scale is very important.
- Enterprise Scale: Experience managing infrastructure at enterprise scale - understanding the operational demands of large, regulated environments.
