Your new role

Prepare and complete periodic regulatory reports, assessments, and submissions
Follow up on matters required by the HKMA, SFC, and other regulatory authorities.
Conduct compliance risk assessments, compliance reviews, and investigations, while assisting in the development and implementation of compliance frameworks, policies, and control standards.
Support regulatory engagement by liaising with local regulators, coordinating responses to regulatory examinations and inspections, and ensuring timely fulfilment of regulatory reporting obligations.
Monitor and analyse regulatory developments, providing compliance advisory support to business units and relevant stakeholders on emerging regulatory requirements.
Review, update, and enhance compliance policies, procedures, and governance documents to align with regulatory expectations, industry best practices, and business developments.

What you'll need to succeed

Bachelor's degree or above in Law, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum 6-8 years of compliance experience within banking. Experience in Chinese banks is preferred.
Strong knowledge of HKMA, SFC, and other relevant banking regulations, rules, and regulatory guidance.
Hands-on experience liaising with regulatory authorities and managing regulatory inspections, enquiries, or examinations.
Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple business functions.
Strong communication skills with proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin.
