A well-established global investment firm is seeking an Operations Manager to join its Hong Kong platform. This role offers broad exposure across middle-office, risk management, and regulatory functions within an institutional investment environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee core fund operations, including trade booking, reconciliation, settlement, P&L reporting, and NAV oversight
- Produce and enhance risk reporting, including portfolio analytics, VaR, scenario analysis, and limit monitoring
- Support regulatory and compliance reporting requirements
- Partner with investment and technology teams to strengthen risk controls and operational processes
- Contribute to workflow optimisation and system enhancements
Candidate Profile
- Fluency in English and Mandarin and/or Cantonese is essential
- Up to 10 years’ relevant experience
- Background in buy-side, sell-side, fund administration, or audit environments welcomed
- Strong understanding of fund operations and the trade lifecycle
- Experience with portfolio management and risk systems
- Programming capability (e.g. Python) beneficial
