Role Summary
An Options Trader role within the volatility trading team at a well-established proprietary trading firm, responsible for managing and executing sophisticated options trading strategies across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute multiple options trading strategies
- Conduct risk management for the trading portfolio
- Identify market trading opportunities
- Develop trading metrics based on proprietary research
- Collaborate with traders and quantitative researchers to optimize strategies
- Improve trading infrastructure with quants and developers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of options market making experience in Hong Kong, China, and/or US markets
- Proven profitability in options markets
- Deep understanding of equity option markets
- Strong knowledge of options pricing models and volatility analysis
- Experience with electronic trading systems
